PARTIES! I'm talking about political parties.

What are political parties?

Political parties are basically a group of voters that are organized to support public policies. They aim to elect official stat will carry out the party's policy. It all seems to be very bias, they basically a point someone into a position that reflects closely or on the dot to their views. These groups want as many people involved. There are two parties currently in the US - Republicans, and Democrats.

Here is a quick understanding of what each party believes in:

REPUBLICANS - Business, conservative positions on social issues, about the concern of the size of government.

DEMOCRATS - Labor and minorities, the government can solve many of the nation's problems.

Let's go on a historic run

Political parties didn't develop until the 1600s. It all started in ancient Greek, the pioneers created a democracy. Two separate groups that were separated were between patricians who were noble parties and plebeians who were wealthy merchants/middle class. After the fall of Rome, Europe had no or to little say in political stances. The official change began in English with Popish Plot in 1678.

Which political party is performed the best during the 2018 midterm election?

I will be using two different graphs to compare which political party seemed to perform better. The first graph is the percentage of vote turnouts in each state and area of that state. The second graph is the population density in each area of the state. Now you're wondering, how do these two correlate with each other? Well, the turnout of democrat voters cames from a heavily populated area of the state. Let's zoom into Washington state.

The areas of Washington such as Seattle got the majority of its voting turnout to be democrats. Seattle is known to be the most liberal city and it's the most heavily populated unlike the other parts of Washington. Any Washington person should know that on the left side of the Cascade Mountains is where all the liberals are found. It's like the Oprah Winfrey, you're a liberal, you're a liberal, and you're a liberal! As you can infer the right side of the Cascade Mountains is more conservatives. Let me tell you the reasons why. Eastern Washington is filled with agriculture in cases of property and taxation. In this case, the beliefs of lower taxes help agriculture workers, it gives the people to save and invest like money should be spent by them not the government (Student Daily News, 2010).

MOVING ON! Let's look at something on the obvious side.

The center of America such as Nebraska and Oklahoma tend to be more conservative states since they are in rural areas. With that in thought, they would vote for someone who holds their ideas, in this case, they would vote for Republicans While outskirts of America such as Washington and New York seem to hold a liberal perspective which in this case they would vote on a Democrat.

American Media and Politics

How does the media play a role in voting turnouts? The topic about the graph above shows where voters have seen news about the 2016 campaign. For example, 19% of the voters use Fox News as their main source. One trend can be about the type of media the voters use. Majority of the Trump voters use fast media such as radios, t.v shows and social media such as Facebook. If you take a look at Clintons voters, you can see that her voters use a wide range of media such as local newspapers. Another trend is the switch between Fox News. Fox News is the main source of information for all voters but a minority of the group in Clintons voters use Fox News as their main source. Fox News does show biases because during the 2016 campaign Trump did not believe in what CNN said. CNN only spat out what was considered false statements and lies about Donald Trump. CNN was constantly challenging Donald Trump while Fox News asked him easier questions to brighten his image to the voters.

"It's scary being a full on Liberal" - Not really

Hi! I'm from Washington state and I am currently a high school senior creating a blog about a project called 'Deconstructing Politics in America." I will be talking about my current political ideology from a survey that I have taken in one of my class days.   From the survey that I took in class ( Political Typology Quiz ), I realized that I was a solid liberal - crazy right! I didn't believe that I would be entire to one side but somehow I ended up skewing to the left side. By the end of the day, it was expected to come from me that I am a solid liberal. The questions in the short yet simple quiz ask you to chose a state that comes close to your view. A photo below is a peek of your choices. Knowing that I am a solid liberal take a quick guess which box I chose. If you took an educational guess, it would've been the first box. A solid liberal believe in austerer environmental laws and regulations that are worth the price. Immigrants today strength...
