American Media and Politics

How does the media play a role in voting turnouts?

The topic about the graph above shows where voters have seen news about the 2016 campaign. For example, 19% of the voters use Fox News as their main source. One trend can be about the type of media the voters use. Majority of the Trump voters use fast media such as radios, t.v shows and social media such as Facebook. If you take a look at Clintons voters, you can see that her voters use a wide range of media such as local newspapers. Another trend is the switch between Fox News. Fox News is the main source of information for all voters but a minority of the group in Clintons voters use Fox News as their main source. Fox News does show biases because during the 2016 campaign Trump did not believe in what CNN said. CNN only spat out what was considered false statements and lies about Donald Trump. CNN was constantly challenging Donald Trump while Fox News asked him easier questions to brighten his image to the voters.

"It's scary being a full on Liberal" - Not really

Hi! I'm from Washington state and I am currently a high school senior creating a blog about a project called 'Deconstructing Politics in America." I will be talking about my current political ideology from a survey that I have taken in one of my class days.   From the survey that I took in class ( Political Typology Quiz ), I realized that I was a solid liberal - crazy right! I didn't believe that I would be entire to one side but somehow I ended up skewing to the left side. By the end of the day, it was expected to come from me that I am a solid liberal. The questions in the short yet simple quiz ask you to chose a state that comes close to your view. A photo below is a peek of your choices. Knowing that I am a solid liberal take a quick guess which box I chose. If you took an educational guess, it would've been the first box. A solid liberal believe in austerer environmental laws and regulations that are worth the price. Immigrants today strength...
